Oversaw safety operations for three major sites: Ensured compliance to OH&S regulations of all employees, conducted workplace safety inspections and accident investigations, and supervised the safety team. Responsible for fire protection and the emergency response and preparedness program development. Supervised onsite nurses and the health center. Responsible for record keeping, tracking processes, and employee training files.

Oversaw daily operations for both ground and air operations. Developed and implemented the Strategic plan and annual budget. Served on the Joint OH&S, Emergency Preparedness, and Contract Management Committees. Hired and mentored staff.

Under the umbrella of the Safety Dept., oversaw the development of an onsite health clinic. Responsibilities included the procurement of a Medical Director, the development of a Strategic Plan, contracting of medical staff, and the development of policies and procedures. Reviewed the onsite stats and oversaw the development of a collaborative return to work program. Directly responsible for the health center's annual budget, in excess of 20 million.

Conducted onsite safety inspections and developed and conducted safety training for all facilities. Developed and directed the implementation of the Disability Management program,resulting in significant cost saving for the Region. Acted as a Liaison between Regional and Contracted EMS services, Sask Health and Sask Labor to ensure compliance to provincial legislation. Member of the City of Swift Current Emergency Planning Committee as well as providing direction to municipalities in the development of their Emergency Response Plans. In partnership with various city and municipal agencies, developed and conducted a large scale mock disaster (pandemic) for the city of Swift Current.

Ensure compliance to OH&S and CNSC regulations by liaising with various contractors and staff. Conducted workplace inspections and investigations. Co-developer of the site safety program. Developed and oversaw the emergency response teams, including EMS, surface fire, underground mine rescue, confined space rescue, and the site underwater dive team.
