Terry Lee is a leading industrial expert in RF/microwave technologies and ASIC/Nano-microelectronics designs. He is the founder of TRL Microwave Technology Inc. and co-founder of SST Wireless Inc., a reputable microwave design house and a leading wireless industrial sensor systems manufacturer respectively. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with Management Science (minor) from the University of Waterloo.He has been the treasurer and a member of the board of Canada Western Telecom Group. He has served the president of Association of Korean-Canadian Scientists & Engineers BC chapter, expert panel reviewer for Canada-California Strategic Innovation Program, and key speaker, section chair and lecturer in several international conferences and seminars.He is a current member of the Advisory Committee of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, a member of the Peer Review Committee for the national microelectronics designs at Canadian Microelectronics Corporation Microsystems, a member of expert reviewer panel for Canadian university projects under the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and a member of the external advisory committee for Information and Communication Technologies Sector, National Research Council.He has been married to Young-Ae Lee since 1977 and a proud father of three children, Lana (’79), David (’80) and Anna (’85). He is an enthusiastic amateur cornet player and a member of Little Mountain Brass Band, Vancouver.
