• Start up and provide day-to-day leadership to an Engineering department comprised of various levels and multi-discipline engineers and engineering service personnel.• Lead large NPD/cost reduction projects throughout the full product lifecycle from requirements analysis, specification definition, PoC, design and development, verification, and validation, certification, product launch, till post-launch reviews.• Review candidate projects in the pipeline and prioritize the execution for each.• Supervise, motivate, and coach work group members and drive results by eliminating hurdles, nurturing progress, and provide technical guidance and resources.• In the role of NPD Champion, develop and promote NPD process and methodologies, provide NPD process training to global teams.• As a member of corporate sustainability sub-team for product development framework work with team members on revising the corporate NPD process to account for sustainability requirements.• Give presentations to top management at key milestones.• Responsible for recruiting, developing, retaining talents, and continuously improving department performance and productivity.• Assume the financial responsibility of building annual budget and controlling spends for the departments and projects.• Drive new technology innovations and generation of intellectual properties.• Manage engineering services handling engineering data, BOMs, drawings, specifications, product manuals, datasheets etc.• Oversee design change control process and approve change requests.• Coordinate with other functions and regions for support and collaboration.

• Project leader of a family of global product to be launched in multi-geographies across Europe, China, and South America. It is a family of turbo-charging direct injection engine developed in collaboration with BMX.• Build and lead a cross functional project team, and act as the interlocutor between local project team, headquarters team and JVs project team.• Conduct resources forecast, budget estimation and skill/knowledge gap analysis.• Responsible for the attainment of overall project objectives – schedule, quality, cost, performance.• Plan, execute and control the project progress. Formulate action plans in case of delays or negative trend to bring the project back on track.• Lead and drive risk identification and mitigation actions to ensure potential roadblocks are eliminated a head of time.• Organize project meetings and lead milestone review presentations• Coordinate with related projects so that project resources are reasonably shared and project synergies are maximized.• Interact with internal, external stakeholders to ensure project status is well communicated and decisions are reached timely.

• Support global product development projects – workload shared among different regions and locations• Support the best cost country sourcing projects by identifying, developing, and approving suppliers, jointly manage the APQP, PPAP till qualified parts being accepted by factories and production capacity is built up to meet forecast volume.• Work closely with Chrysler Headquarter technical center CTC on LCC projects, workload transfer, and product transfer projects.• Assist senior manager in achieving departmental objectives. • Make modifications to original design of target products for Asia market adaptation.• Participated in exploring potential business partners in China to start JVs or projects.• Provide technical support to field issues with vehicles sold in Asia.

• Support new product development projects and product transfer and localization projects.• Participate in project managements for several product development projects.• Responsible for the release and maintenance of engineering drawings and specifications for electronics, mechanical parts.• Support new vehicle and engine prototyping activities and build events.• Prepare and manage engineering data in the form of BOM and in worldwide engineering release system• Review and approve DFMEAs, DVPs and PVPs.• Approve DVP test reports.• Support for technical issues reported from proven ground and field.• Solve technical issues, implement engineering changes, and approve deviations.• Support sourcing activities and APQP projects.• Provide engineering support to manufacturing, logistics to ensure production continuity.
