The California Department of Public Health Immunization Program provides leadership and support to public and private sector efforts to protect the population against vaccine-preventable diseases.The Senior Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs a variety of duties necessary for the successful operation of the Immunization Branch’s Vaccine Management section to protect against vaccine-preventable diseases through the California COVID-19 Vaccination Program’s Call Center. The Senior CSR will operate in a fast-paced call center and utilize customer service skills to support Tier one CSRs performing daily operations. Senior CSR support includes triaging all inbound email communication and service tickets, being subject matter experts of the vaccine program and software to provide Tier 2 support for CSRs answering calls and emails, managing outreach related to vaccine orders, shipment incidents, account holds, and other special projects the call center takes on, addressing escalations from Tier 1 CSRs via phone, email, or live chat, and perform all Tier 1 CSR duties when volume requires it.
