The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Champion of Innovation and Growth is accountable for driving integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions, including program development, marketing, sales operations, sales activity, client support, pricing, cost-containment programs, vendor relations, and revenue management. The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Performance Duties: •Financial accounting and reporting: Supervise the finance unit and act as the chief financial spokesperson for the organization•Client relations: Oversee and develop client support services to ensure that clients receive top-notch, customer-focused, attention•Customer satisfaction: Construct corporate communication processes that maintain a complete customer feedback loop to ensure customer satisfaction•Programs and services: Develop viable, innovative and profitable solutions – that are delivered to clients in a remarkable manner •Pricing strategies and execution: Establish fees and vendor arrangements for each solution, generating a fair return to Consociate, and significant, measurable value to clients•Sales performance: Create and deploy sales strategies and tactics that build a pipeline with trusted brokers/consultants, carriers, providers, vendors and clients as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts•Advertising and promotion: Collaborate with the executive team and deploy effective marketing campaigns and communication strategies, to generate revenue that can be analyzed and refined to isolate the activities that generate the greatest ROI •Revenue maximization: Generate revenue through activities, services and programs that positively impact our clients (save them money and/or time) and allow Consociate, its employees and families, and our communities - to flourish

Managed the design and delivery of all U.S. and Canadian benefits (including Pension, SERP, 401(k)/ESOP, Executive Deferred Compensation, RRSP, Medical, Prescription, Dental, FSA, Life, AD&D, STD, LTD, and other voluntary benefits - Long-term Care, Legal Plan, Group Auto/Home, Transportation Reimbursement, Adoption Assistance, Stock Purchase, and College Savings. Oversaw the Production, Processes and Performance Reviews of 5 direct reports and 8 other staff members within very different roles and skill sets - operating under the following areas in our Department. Communications - involved in strategy, editing and writing of all mass communications (including summary plan descriptions, updates, newsletters, annual enrollment materials)Compliance and Reporting - reviewed and authorized bills for payment, reviewed and signed-off on all annual filings (such as 5500's, Annual Info Returns), participated in actuarial valuation discussions, reviewed departmental accounting reportsHealth & Welfare Administration - involved in plan design and strategy, annual rate setting, and analysis of accounting accrual/reserves. Oversaw the daily administration (mostly outsourced recently to Hewitt) - including managing vendors/carriers, making final decisions in regards to elevated (not routinely handled by Hewitt's or ADM's call center) claim, eligibility and enrollment issues.
