We participate in NAVSUP Command Assessments and conduct Management Assistance Visits (MAVs). NAVSUP Energy interfaces with government and industry scientists, petroleum engineers, logisticians, Navy Fleet organizations, the Naval Fuels research community, the other Military Services, and DLA Energy to coordinate petroleum and supply chain policy and procedures.NAVSUP Energy's Facilities Engineering Division functions as the technical support and engineering services provider for fuel-related military construction (MILCON) projects and Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) projects at all naval fuel activities. Personnel coordinate the submission of projects, provide daily advice and guidance on programs related to the operation of Navy fuel terminals, and lobby for and justify funding from DLA Energy to execute SRM and MILCON projects.

I create new DESC Polices and checklists required to support DFSPs. Lead Inventory Management Specialist with their daily and monthly reconciliation tasks. Observe training provided by DESC Contractors to ensure DESC polices are strictly followed by Contractors. I develop and ensure implementation of the policies and procedures necessary to confirm timely and accurate fuel account reconciliation and audibility for DFSP locations worldwide. I assist all Responsible Officers with their DFSP reconciliation problems. I perform worldwide, regional, and DFSP specific trend analysis and random sampling to identify and provide corrective action on potential issues for DESC referencing all DFSPs. I train newly assigned Inventory Management personnel in the operation of all automated systems i.e. Fuels Enterprise Server(FES), Defense Fuel Automated Management Systems (DFAMS)and Oracle Energy Downstream (OED). -
