I run coaching programs for currency traders based on exploring the psychological and mental aspects of trading, then using techniques from Change Psychology to establish better trading habits. I also facilitate ForexMasterMind Groups to support trading insights and problem solving for traders.I am a full time retail currency trader in northern NSW, Australia. My 11 years of experience doing this have led me to a firm understanding that it is the psychology of why we trade in the way we do that is the primary driver of profitability in this very challenging field.   Prior to discovering the challenging and complex world of currency trading, I was a Project Manager for large residential building projects in New Zealand. Since starting on my trading journey in 2008, I have done several online and weekend workshops (Trade with Precision, NZ), and been fortunate to have a personal mentor to discuss and tutor me in trading strategies and concepts. I have done well in excess of the 10,000 hours of screen time often cited as a pre-requisite for competent trading! I currently trade fulltime after reaching a point of consistently profitable trading over time some 5 years ago.Over the last 20 years I have also done a number of personal growth workshops (Forum, Insight), meditation retreats, and a great deal of group work involving psychodrama, and Gestalt work. More recently I have been an avid student of NLP and Change Psychology. Coupled with this has been my connection with MasterMind groups for small businesses as both a participant and trained facilitator.
