Revenues were generated from advertising (SME merchants promoting their services) & from Consumers (accessing the service through premium rate numbers).• Increased advertising Merchants from 10K to 60K in 2 years, through direct and indirect sales channels.• Implemented a computer based CRM system, driving a 90% reduction in failed contracts, customer acquisition from 4.00 to 5.50 new contracts/week & reducing churn from 90% to 25% per quarter.• Appointed a new management team to run the UK business through internal promotion & external recruitment.• Negotiated a key contract with BT Directories, which eventually led to BT bidding for & acquiring the assets of Scoot.com.
