Expertise in:a) systems and applications from multiple vendors, such as Toshiba, ABB, Siemens, ControlSoft (Mantra), Univation (APC+), Matrikon (Honeywell) & Invensys.b) process control engineering; from digital logic design to basic and advanced regulatory analog control right through to model based multivariable model predictive analog and digital control.2. Excellent communication, customer focus, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.3. Comprehensive requirements analysis competence - being able to readily and easily translate & realise user requirements into application software without compromising existing control system or plant performance.4. Computer literacy of the highest order. Database (Access, SQL, VBA), Excel, Matlab, Operating System (Windows OSs, Unix, Linux etc.), scripting languages (VBS, Python, sed/awk etc.), C / C++ / C#, revision control (user and system administrator level - e.g. SVN), networking (domains, workgroups, VLAN, routers, switches, OPC server / client), hardware (RAID controllers etc.), virtual machines (e.g. VM Ware) etc.5.
