2006-Present Travelers Insurance Albany, NYOutside Property Claims Representative- Contents Specialist/Subject Matter Expert First party estimating, investigation, evaluation and negotiation for insurance replacement value on lost or damaged property and contents; Field inspection, scope of damages, photographs, written, and computer assisted estimates; Policy review and interpretation; Denial letters, Reservation of Rights and other complex correspondence; documentation and record retention and file inventory management; maintain and exceed all quality standards and expectations per Best Practices; insure compliance with state regulations, where applicable; provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the insured, agent and all other internal and external customers; identify and refer claims to Special Investigations Unit and/or Subrogation Unit; administrative functions such as expense accounts, time off reporting, etc. as required; occasional Catastrophe Duty, including other offices and states as required; other duties as required.
