When I was a young lad I would sit on the hardwood floor of my grandmother's kitchen doodling away in my sketchbook with my endless pile of crayons and markers. As I was doodling, countless things would run through my mind allowing me to add to my masterpiece. I would then show the Art Director (My dear grandmother) what I had created and she would give me helpful feedback. I then plopped myself back down in my usual spot and let my mind run wild again taking into consideration what the Art Director had told me. We would eventually get to a point where my masterpiece would be displayed on the grandest stage of them all. Grandma's two door refrigerator. What a rewarding experience and a proud one at that. I would love it when visitors came to the studio, as they walked by my masterpiece I would wait in anticipation for their critique. I loved to hear what people had to say about my creation. If they walked by without noticing, I knew the next creation had to be better. Pretty soon I began drawing little creations for everyone and I thought to myself "If someone likes what you have to offer, they will want what you have to offer". This may sound cheesy and may sound like people wanted what I had to offer because I was a child. However, I feel this is one of the biggest reasons why I am who I am today. That same little kid striving for excellence as he waited by the refrigerator for people to critique his work, so that he could make it better, is still in me today. This molded me into a person paying great attention to detail and a person that always studies things people really like and act on it.
