Author of Legendary Authors and the Clothes They Wore, published by Harper Collins 2017, Legendary Artists and the Clothes they Wore published 2019 by Harper Collins, and the best-selling fashion biography series which began in May 2022 with Harry Styles and the Clothes he Wears published by ACC, subsequently followed by Rihanna and the Clothes she Wears, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, The Spice Girls and BTS and the Clothes they Wear. Most recently - a book about Marilyn Monroe's fashion legacy, Marilyn Monroe: Style, written in conjunction with the Monroe Estate, comes out October 2024. Also a contributor to Gered Mankowitz's Rolling Stones, Rare and Unseen book, published by Welbeck, and i-D Magazine's Fashion Now 1 and 2 books published by Taschen. Additionally I currently lecture at Regents University London for their International Fashion Marketing MA Programme and previously as a VL at UWE for their Fashion Promotion Course and The University for Creative Arts running their EDI unit. I worked for 14 years at The University for the Creative Arts on their magazine journalism, fashion history and theory, media, styling, digital content, marketing and branding modules and for 6 years at Birkbeck on their Creative and Professional Writing course. A highly experienced journalist and stylist, over the years I have worked for most UK broadsheets and international style magazines. Former Shopping Editor, i-D Magazine, Consumer Editor, Attitude Magazine, Associate Editor, Self Service, and contributor to Time-Out, The Guardian, The Times, The Sunday Times Magazine and many more on and offline publications. As a freelancer I have also written and presented fashion features and news for Channel 4 programmes and more recently as a fashion historian on documentaries about Mary Quant and Twiggy. I have experience writing for fashion-style-culture web start-ups creating large amounts of content. I'm always interested in new things to do!
