• Complete Controller’s Audits as assigned by Director of Finance and ensure plans & actions are documented and followed up for any gaps identified• In the absence of the Director of Finance, carry out his/her responsibilities• Evaluate performance of all direct reports with the input from DOF and other departments, if applicable• Ensure each direct report has been thoroughly trained on his/her responsibilities, establish a training calendar• Accommodate any internal, external, or statutory audit requests as directed by the DOF• Complete any other projects, tasks or activities as assigned from time to time• Analysis of financial information including processes to generate custom reports • Procurement and accounts payable • Supervision of Finance and Accounting Department staff members • Assisting with the establishment of policies, procedures and controls for the Finance and Accounting Department, while monitoring employee compliance • Interfacing with business division leaders to understand special needs and demands, and to find and implement solutions to address the needs • Ensure an effective tracking system for all rebates/adjustments. • Work closely with all departments to come up with solutions to Systems & Controls problems. • Ensure daily balance of Income Audit to Daily Report• Ensuring proper review and processing of contracts • Prepare Balance Sheet analysis. The Assistant Director will work hands-on and will also lead, direct and assist others. The Assistant Director will work with and back up the Director to support all department functions as well as provide leadership coverage for the Finance and Accounting Department when the Director is not available.

•Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition•Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances•Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements•Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting•Research technical accounting issues for compliance•Support month-end and year-end close process•Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting which include other sister properties.•Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings•Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls•Attend owner Quarterly business, Capex and risk management meeting.•Be part of the hotel audit commitee to support to corporate office.

• Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations etc. • Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for Executive Director, Development and Board of Directors • Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals • Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary • Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies • Supervise overall Operations (including: Safety, Security, Computer Services and Building Maintenance) • Acting as GM in his absence
