I have worked on the railway for over 24 years. I started out as an apprentice in 1989, I have worked in all aspects of PWay, maintenance, plain line and S&C renewals. I have been in supervisory/ management roles for the past 10 years working closely with business improvement and to make us more efficient in how we work and deliver jobs. For the past year I have been working as a construction manager in running and facilitating track renewals for training. I have been promoting leadership and communication skills to ensure the site managers have the tools to deliver specific and precise briefings, and more time efficient track renewals.
