Education Researcher
CurrentTerry works independently as an education researcher. He has published research relating to judging teaching quality and developing teacher self-efficacy. He is passionate about ensuring research informed and evidence supported practice is put to good use. He always enjoys seeing people and organisations develop and become better at what they do. Over a period of more than 35 years he has developed a thorough understanding of approaches for appraising teaching quality and promoting teacher self-efficacy. He has established a record of successfully leading and sustaining improvements in teaching and learning in schools, colleges, universities and training organisations. He has extensive experience of developing teams and working with individuals to raise standards, build capacity to improve and advance organisational performance and quality. He is experienced in delivering a number of national change initiatives for the education and training sectors and has supported many organisations with their preparations for, and implementation of, major change projects.
