After spending 18 years in various management positions in the hotel industry, I utilized the skills developed within the hospitality industry to begin a career as a real estate appraiser. Although specializing in hotel assets, other commercial properties appraised include golf courses, resorts, spas and restaurants. In twenty-plus years as an appraiser, I have completed analyses of 35 to 70 commercial assets per year, ranging from limited-service hotels to select-service property types to full-service properties including independently owned and operated property types, franchised hotels, and luxury/boutique hotels and resorts. Experienced in a broad range of appraisal and consulting services including valuation, tax appeal, impact analysis and feasibility studies.Currently licensed in the State of Ohio as well as the States of Michigan, Texas and Minnesota. Have completed appraisals in 48 states utilizing either a permanent or temporary license. Experience includes completing assignments for individual owners, management companies, and major investment firms.
