Responsible for operations of all Shell Midstream Crude and Refined Products pipeline assets in the state of Texas; including 3 tank farm terminals, DOT regulated pipelines, numerous pump stations & metering sites and directly supervising a group of operations personnel.

Direct responsibilities to control and operate a distillate blending and transport terminal. Responsible for tank farm allocation and custody transfer ticketing, including marine vessel confirmations and analysis.

Responsible for assuring safe practices related to land transportation in all aspects of Shell Upstream's business across the western hemisphere; primarily contract compliance management for contracted transportation services to Shell. Areas of coverage includes all of Central and South America, Arctic (Alaska), and various groups across North America including Shell Upstream Exploration groups Nova Scotia Shelburne Venture.

Responsible for assuring safe practices related to land transportation at Shell Upstream's Eagle Ford project in South Texas, also responsible for the startup of Shell's Arrowhead project near Wichita Kansas and other projects in west Texas.

Responsible to calibrate, diagnose and repair liquid custody transfer meters and complete associated measurement documentation. Secondary responsibilities included assisting shore based engineering with flow computer and communication system diagnosis and repair. The position required daily helicopter operations visiting all platforms that are tied into Shell's offshore pipeline network.

Responsible for quality assurance and measurement of large volumes of crude oil through a large tank farm terminal facility (1 million bbl.+ throughput)Responsible for the “cash register” to manage loss/gain of 6 pipelines into and out of a 7M bbl. strategic tank farm facility

Responsible for maintenance and operational support of ~250 miles of DOT and non-regulated pipelines in Illinois and MissouriResponsibilities including contractor work supervision, emergency response, line locates and oversight of small to medium sized projectsResponsible for safe and accurate movement of finished products and crude oil including operating within a refinery environment (gasoline blender ops, tank farm)

Responsible for planning, coordinating and tracking all training activities for a large, culturally diverse pipeline operations team on Shell's Sakhalin 2 project in Far East Russia. Key challenges included logistics given the remote location and workforce diversity.

As part of startup for a major international oil and gas project my responsibilities included the monitoring of pipeline construction activity, knowledge share and development of local staff in competency of field duties associated with operating an onshore pipeline. I was also assigned to perform factory acceptance tests of field equipment being built in Yavne, Israel near Tel Aviv; including point to point testing of RTU and Communications equipment.
