Optical Fiber Consultant, Telecommunications Technician, Manager, Designer, and Honorably Discharged USAF veteran with over 30 years experience. I have provided technician training and provided consulting services in many US states, LATAM, Kuwait, Africa, Middle East, and several Caribbean Islands. I have also provided fiber optic design training in Kuwait. My telecommunications experiences range from fiber optics, to CATV, to twisted pair, and MMDS -- always with an Outside Plant emphasis. I have been a trainer, splicer, installer, construction hand, manager, designer, and technician (occasionally all in the same day). For the past 20 years, I have worked primarily as a trainer and project manager on a number of large projects in the US. In recent years, I have worked on disaster recovery teams in Florida and the Cayman Islands. I have also run projects in Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and St. Lucia.As Senior Instructor and Training Manager at FiberOptic.com, I was responsible for curriculum and course development, as well as delivering our classes to our students.I was also the primary traveling trainer and tester. In this capacity; I have taught overseas classes in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Nigeria, Chile, Panama, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, and Curacao and I have tested or repaired fiber in Haiti, Guatemala, Panama, and Dubai.
