Worked 28 years in a rod mill. Began as apprentice roll turner in 1971. Worked through various departments ending as General Foreman, overseeing Production, Coil Handling, and the Roll and Guide Shops.Allowed to pursue other opportunities in 1999. Began working for Fabris Inc. assembling steel mill equipment including all guiding systems, roller entries, deliveries, slitters, etc.. We also manufacture and assembled 38 different styles on traversing rest bars that deliver less down time than traditional fixed rest bars when roll or pass changes are required.As a Solution Provider, Fabris offers various spiral cooling arrangements allowing mills to roll faster and provide them with greater control when cooling their finished products.
