    Started at Purdue North Central February 2012 but with the retirement of Chief Gaekle on December 31, 2014, I was appointed Acting Chief at Purdue North Central and served in that capacity until February 2016. With the unification of Purdue Calumet and Westville campuses, the individual campus police chief positions were eliminated. A new chief position was created to oversee both campuses. I opted not to apply for that position but have remained as a police supervisor at the Westville campus. I have been appointed as Executive Lieutenant to the Westville campus police department.

    I served 3 terms as the Lodge President for the LaPorte Lodge#54. During my term I was able to secure for the first time a written labor contract with the City of LaPorte to secure benefit and labor condition protections for the police officers of the City of LaPorte. Contract was signed by then Mayor Elmo Gonzalez. The work which brought the contract into existence involved the help of a contract committee organized locally by myself, then Labor Council rep Robert Imborek and FOP State President Paul Metten.The contract is still in existence today.
