KCFN Marina and Campground operates Walters Cove Resort, Fair Harbour Marina and Campground, Houpsitas Village Suites and West Coast Expeditions. Office is located in Campbell River, BC.

IN SEASON:During the operating season, I was on site in remote locations and wore many hats. I oversaw the day to day operation of all lodge departments (dock and fishing operations, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, retail) in a safe environment for staff and guests. I ensured staff was motivated to provide excellent customer service. I held accountability for both the guests and staff overall experience. I managed towing, moorage, inventory control, transportation and ordering of supplies. I implemented and administered the Corporate Management System (CMS) which defined policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions.OFF SEASON:I focused on driving sales, both new sales and rebooking past guests, through working database, customer referrals, trade shows and website enquiries. I worked to create, maintain and strengthen current customer relationships. I prepared for the next season by reviewing financials and providing input on operational budgets, updating the Corporate Management System, providing input on supply purchases, repair and maintenance and overall improvement of the guest experience. I recruited, hired and trained seasonal staff.

I guided and instructed groups of up to 4 at 2 remote fishing lodges in the Central Coast of BC.• Promoted to Instructor Supervisor in 2002.• Hired year round in 1998 as part of the sales team during off season.

I was based out of Edmonton, AB and generated wholesale sales of electronics imported from Korea and Japan to retail vendors. My territory covered Northern Alberta, and Northeastern BC. I trained client sales staff in product knowledge and sales techniques.• Built sales from less than $150,000 to over $2M per year.• Introduced and launched sales incentive programs.
