Working as a Leadership Psychologist and author of 'Consciousness Beyond Consumerism: A Psychological Path to Sustainability’. I have a keen interest in transpersonal leadership and conscious leadership, which I am currently researching through studying for a PhD in Applied Transpersonal Psychology with the Alef Trust and Liverpool John Moores University. As a Leadership Psychologist, I have gained over 25 years of experience in a wide range of industries. Prior to this, I worked for 12 years in the construction industry. In my consulting, I mainly work with leaders, engaging them in Executive Profiling, Executive Coaching and Leadership Development. I also develop teams and advise leaders on organisational development. When working with corporate leaders and changemakers, I enable the development of consciousness. As consciousness is the source of our performance, it flows through everything we do. So, if we want to increase our performance as leaders, teams and organisations, we have to develop our consciousness. In doing so, I convert the science of transpersonal psychology theory and research into practical application. For my PhD studies, I am researching how changemakers can develop their consciousness, so their leadership gains the capability needed to lift society onto a more sustainable path. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (FRSA). I have been a guest lecturer at the University of Kent and the Centre for Alternative Technology. In terms of formal qualifications, I hold a BSc. Hons. in Psychology, an MSc. in Occupational Psychology and an MBA. I have been trained in Gestalt Coaching, Buddhist Psychotherapy and Psychosynthesis. I have also gained a Certificate in Leadership and Facilitation from Schumacher College.I am a Director of Aqumens Consulting Ltd.
