I'm a former high school and college instructor who got involved in the commercial sewing world. This began when I purchased a camping store in Columbus Ohio in the '80's and began offering outdoor equipment repairs.This evolved into my first dedicated sewing shop where we expanded to sewing banners and product prototypes for organizations like Battelle Memorial Institute. The products we've sewn have varied and changed over the years but for the last twenty years there has been a heavy emphasis on stage and studio curtains for large and small venues.Our bread and butter work now is providing affordable stage curtains for small stage settings who cannot afford a big financial outlay. The rewarding element of this is seeing the pure joy of small schools, churches, and theater groups getting curtains and a professional look to their facilities.One specialty we have developed over the last 15 years is training other companies to set up and maintain sewing facilities for a variety of applications.
