I'm a Retired owner/operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Georgia and South Carolina. The Golden Arches have given me so many wonderful opportunities and i'd love to tell you a bit about my McDonald’s journey.As a teenager, I wanted a job and decided to join my local McDonald’s as a crew person making $1.85 an hour. I met my wife in 1978 under the arches which, just like the Big Mac, was love at first sight. After working my way up the ranks, I finally became an owner/operator for my first McDonald’s in Columbia, South Carolina. It was a blessing. That was August of 2001.I loved my job and the opportunities I got, as an owner, to support my people and celebrate their accomplishments. I’m also proud to support our local communities, helping make our home a great place to live! I’ve always been proud to work for for the Golden Arches.I did retire On Nov. 1, 2020 and have enjoyed the next steps to a different life. Looking for me on a Golf course near you.
