A local marketplace of fine artists offering the unique opportunity to acquire one-of-a-kind handmade items in a stunning local venue, The Valley barn at Frutig Farms.

Responsible for hiring and developing a team to seek out, establish, and maintain both short and long-term relationships with community members, schools, businesses, nonprofits, and social service agencies. The result was a greater and more effective use of AADL’s spaces allowing for more exposure of AADL’s services to new, and historically difficult to reach users and non-users alike. I also coordinated all aspects of AADL’s exhibits programming, elevating it to a highly sought-after venue for both local and national exhibitors.Washtenaw Library for the Blind & Physically Disabled @ AADLAwarded the Library of Congress, National Sub-Regional Library of the Year, 2014. In conjunction with my role as AADL, Manager of Outreach & Neighborhood Services, I also coordinated all aspects of transitioning and managing library services for all people experiencing low-vision, blindness, or other physical disabilities, who reside in Washtenaw County. Responsible for all-staff training, supervision, database and website management, maintaining and reporting of demographics and circulation statistics, programming, biennial vendor fair coordination, and direct patron services.

Acted as the point of contact among elected trustees, executive director, employees, and patrons. Managed all aspects of posting and documenting board of trustee meetings in compliance with Michigan’s Open Meetings Act and Roberts Rules of Order. Managed all administrative tasks relating to the smooth operation of a front office, including answering phones, internal and external correspondence, filing, scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
