In my role as an Events and Volunteer Coordinator for PMG it is my responsibility to liaise and manage relationships with external organisations on our input into their events across the UK. I plan all logistics relating to these events including resources, materials and planning travel and accommodation for staff members and volunteers. I also attend most of these events personally to ensure successful execution, and feed back to PMG management on their progress and success. I am responsible for the exhibition stand design, and ordering and updating the relevant resources and literature. I manage the volunteer list, selecting and briefing volunteers for events, recruiting new volunteers and organising the annual volunteer appreciation evening.

When I started at EPS as Marketing Assistant it was my main responsibility to carry out market research into all aspects of the industries EPS works in. I also assisted in the everyday running of the business development department, from direct mail, talking to potential clients, case studies and updating information for literature through to assisting in the running of corporate events. Within a couple of months my role was expanded to include being the Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) administrator. My role was again expanded to be responsible for analysing performance data and reporting on it to company directors and board management. I gained a good knowledge or marketing and developed excellent administrative skills.
