I have worked various positions in the steel industry for over 20 years. My current role is providing quotes for electric motors, electric motor technical assistance and working with the field sales reps to supply the correct motor to our customers. I have highlighted some of my relevant accomplishments and skills below: • Generate prospective new customers through contact and introduction of company. • Contact old and non-active customers to motivate new sales.• Connect with book accounts to educate about current sales and specials.• Take phone orders, giving close attention to specifics of item details.• Assist walk-in customers with correct item for their needs.• Prior experience as a Shipper/Loader, Shear Helper, Tagger, and Steel Pourer. My creative nature, communication skills and outgoing personality allow me to think outside the box and understand others. These are great assets in the sales field. Because of those qualities combined with my previous steel industry experience I am a good fit for my position.
