Red Afternoon is a six piece band that has been quickly making their name known in Northeast Florida. Fronted by singers Terry Whitehead and Tamara Colonna Grigsby, the band performs an eclectic mix of covers and originals that are typically representative of Roots Rock and Americana. No need to get caught up in the labeling though as their repertoire is large and varied and the set list can be customized to suit different venues. One fan described Red Afternoon as "Picnic with your soul on a bright summer day by the river music." The group performed for a few months under the name Gates Of Eden before changing their name to Red Afternoon. The band features two talented lead guitarists: Dave Knopsnyder and Bill Gibson (each singer-songwriters in their own right).
