• Operates, monitors, repairs and maintains all facility systems and equipment.• Inspects and tests all systems throughout facility to detect malfunctions or breakdowns; diagnose causes and locate the source of the problem.• Works safely; follows and adheres to all safety/maintenance precautions, policies and procedures; ensures adherence to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.• Operates Siemens Fire Alarm Panel, HVAC Control System, audio systems, IT equipment, and a personal computer using Windows, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD software.• Maintains and keeps accurate inventory of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing supplies, spare parts, shop tools and equipment.• Records and logs all work performed using maintenance software and compiles all required reports in a timely and complete manner.• Assists other Operations Department staff to expedite maintenance tasks as needed.• Assists with the planning, implementing, and supervision of projects and events. • Ensures proper and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment.• Performs routine inspections throughout facility to detect wearing, malfunctions or breakdowns.• Works with vendors and contractors in maintenance and repair of systems and equipment.• Assists with emergency action plans for system malfunctions or breakdowns.• Analyzes needs and assists with preventative maintenance programs and upgrades for systems.• Operates equipment, such as industrial trucks, Zamboni, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines or other light power-driven equipment.• Ensures proper utilization and processing of work orders.• Works extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.• All other duties as assigned.• Participates in the Arena’s Manager on Duty program

• Manage all support services related to maintenance and landscape including the supervision of new construction and renovation of old exhibits.
