Contract role providing Quality Engineering and environmental testing support on the James Web Telescope.

Temporary assignment. Assess and audit the QMS transition from AS9100 rev C to rev D. Audit and assess various functional groups subject matter experts for compliance to transition. Make recommendations to local command media to properly address any gaps.

Temporary Position. Perform site evaluations of various functional organizations to evaluate compliance transition from AS9100 rev C to rev D. Met with various functional groups Subject Matter Experts to evaluate compliance and recommend procedural updates.

Provide support submitting DD250s into the WAHF web based system and some administrative support in SAP. Attend and participate in weekly MRB meetings.

Work with suppliers providing the infrared vacuum package, CCA, and optical subassemblies/components to meet schedule and quality requirements of AS 9100 and automotive devices. Guide them through failure analysis, root cause and corrective action processes as well as provide technical training. FMEA, PPAP, APQP.
