Responsible for managing the following activities as part of the on going Senior Buyer role as well as actively participating in Turn Around purchasing support for Carseland Nitrogen Operations and the two sites in Edmonton with a yearly spend of $ 75 Million. - Effectively manage tender processes for Capital project spend of $24 Million from needs creation to delivery and installation.- Support team in purchasing non stock parts with a spend of $ 3 Million - Effectively manage the ISNet safety rating software ensuring only vendors meeting Agrium Safety Standards are used.- Effectively manage the creation and issuance of Work Visa, Business Visitors letters and Labor Market Opinions are processed in a timely manner ensuring un interrupted access to Global Technical Support for site.- Effectively Manage the collection of the 15% witholding tax as per regulation 105 (1)

• Implemented and manage a Vendor Management program for all key suppliers including quarterly KPI reviews, measurement and recording processes.• Responsible for initiating, planning, controlling and closing Legal Agreement for all strategic and non strategic projects.• Responsible for all procurement related activities for Maintenance Services including Electrical, Refrigeration, HVAC, critical OEM parts and capital purchases. • Responsible for yearly spend in excess of 15 million.• Manage all purchasing related activities within a purchasing cycle.• Negotiate supply agreements & identify cost-savings opportunities.• Act as liaison between the business unit and external suppliers and vendors. • Establish and maintain an excellent rapport with internal & external customers in resolving issues.

• Managed MRO activities for 5 breweries across Canada.• Lead corporate RFP processes in Lab Supplies, Mailing equipment, Uniform Supply nationally delivering quarter million dollar in savings.• Managed marketing function for all corrugate displays.• Managed Fleet services nationally.• Developed and lead a sourcing strategy for new plant in Moncton NB including organizing a supplier fair and television (Local News) coverage of the evening. • Managed unionized crew of 20 production employees in brewery environment. Produced record volumes of product during peak consumption period while maintaining the highest safety standards.

• Managed $ 8 MM automation project. Responsible for providing innovation and alternative sourcing solutions. Main capital components of project were sourced from U.K., Japan, Thailand, France and Austria. All components were delivered on time and 25% under budget.• $ 2.1 MM cost savings achieved on 20 MM spend for business through BID, RFQ and negotiation process for capital equipment purchases for all business segments over past 2 years.• Developed, sourced and implemented contracts for landscaping, snow removal and manufacturing waste disposal for all 3 divisions delivering risk protection and 20% cost reduction.• Represented Canadian Divisions in sourcing, developing and implementing national agreements for Mars North America in merchandising supplies, office supplies and copier services.
