CurrentSr. Inspector – Field Engineer June 18th 2017 – Present Pulse Broadband (NRTC Company)• Sr. Inspector on 185-mile FTTH builds in Grundy County and Trenton, MO • Ensure contractor builds system to specifications on drawings.• Red line all construction on project drawings.• Document all contractor pay items and verify for invoicing.• Resolve any issues with home owners and city officials.• Resolve construction methods needing changes.• Submit daily morning report to Project Manager on previous days construction activities.• Track daily footages built of underground and aerial outside plant and report to client.• Plan with prime contractor and sub-contractors to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.• Perform quality control inspections during and after construction for adherence to specs.• Perform mapping of new builds with Ipad, Trimble GPS and TeraFlex software.• Experienced in use of Ike to perform pole loading on Grants, NM build.• Work with design team on field design and perform markups of initial construction drawings of field mapped FTTH systems, made field design changes for submittal for final drawings.• Create Excel chaining list of spreads to calculate footage and equipment required to build each spread.• Create make ready lists on existing aerial plant during new build mapping process.
