I am a seasoned 25+ year C-suite physician executive serving at the intersection of business and medicine. My medical expertise along with a MBA in finance and business development allows me to rapidly close the gap between innovative technology, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals to successful regulatory approval, market access, and patient care. Experienced in working at the executive level for multi-national Fortune 50 companies to CEO/Board advisory roles for entrepreneurial startups, my niche is expediting value creation by sound strategy and efficient execution with key talent, relationship, and resource maximization. Uniquely, my career has spanned almost all sectors of healthcare- from biopharmaceutical organizations, diagnostics, health systems and plans, large employers, to government and benefits/policy. As a consultant- I have engaged with over 100 organizations in advancing more financially sustainable and efficient medication/product positioning and models of care.Acknowledged as a futurist, intuitive leader, and communicator with demonstrated results in turning opportunities into roadmaps with executable strategies, my key talent is in finding the niche or innovative "out of the box" approach that can generate new business, accelerate growth, or disrupt competitors. I am proud to have served as a USAF Flight Surgeon in helicopters supporting 38 launches and landings of the space shuttle during Desert Shield/Storm and am grateful to all that have served and continue serving our country.

Co-Lead- Medication Management TaskforcePcpcc Jul 2009 - Sep 2012In 2010 and 2012, we successfully compiled, launched, and and received wide-spread adoption of the PCPCC Resource Guide: Integrating Comprehensive Medication Management to Optimize Patient Outcomes. This effort definitively defined comprehensive medication management as a critical component for success in the transformation to a coordinated care system. I have suggested language and demonstration projects at the state and federal level that have become law or agency adopted policy by working with both legislators and their staffs, federal and state agencies, and multiple stakeholders, while continuing to work on meaningful reform. Continuing to work extensively on the value proposition and practical implementation of patient-centric ‘coordination of medications’, including the uniform expansion of practice and documentation standards for pharmaceutical care, delivery system integration, and payment reform realignment, Dr. Paul Grundy PCPCC President and IBM’s Global Director of Healthcare Transformation was kind enough to write-“the world’s foremost expert on Real "Pharmacy of the future" and the integration of that into a working delivery system is Terry McInnis.”
