I worked directly specifiers, agencies, distributors, and contractors throughout the North Central and Midwest region providing design and tech support. My experience in both the green industry and the electric field benefited everyone in the supply chain. The effort resulted in a 40 percent increase in sales in 2010 and a 15-20 percent increase in sales for 2011. It was the best showing for the territory in at least 6 years.

Facilitated the transformation of the Upper Midwest territory from manufacturer rep to factory support. Built a grass roots campaign to find new contractors in a market that saw an increase of competition and a thinning of the distribution pipeline, utilizing an integrated marketing approach.Key Accomplishments:Developed a year round communication system to keep the distributor and contractor involved with the custom approaches I could maintain at the design and production level. Worked with the factory to integrate fixture changes for the marketplace to compete against a dramatic increase in manufacturers working directly against our 45 year old brand.Built a "regional" template for targeted literature. Created a series of learning aids from two hour "lunch and learn" to 8 hour continuing education classes (CEU credit) in the State of Minnesota. Actively consulted in the marketing of the small business with custom designed pieces from the factory and the photography of the designs. Developed presentation for product specification. This comprehensive program was assisted by PPT in the field.Invigorated contractors and distributors with a lighting design formula that grew their business and created characteristics distinguishing us from the competition both on the finished product and installation techniques (set to local electrical codes). This process was developed to be repeated in industrial, commercial and high end residential markets.
