I lead the information Technology function for the Third District of the United States Federal Reserve Bank. The Third District consists of eastern PA, southern NJ and DE. Formally known as the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, we are one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that make up the Federal Reserve System (FRS). As the nation's central bank, the Federal Reserve System works to ensure the strength and integrity of the economy and financial system.In Philadelphia, we host the FRS's Quantum Experience Center where we work with our System Innovation colleagues to advance education, experimentation and enablement of quantum technologies for the benefit of the FRS mission. We play an important role in developing and supporting technology for FRS loan programs including the Discount Window. We have deep experience in enterprise data management and bring AI/ML expertise to draw insight from that data (i.e. payment rails fraud detection, securities valuation, financial systemic risks analysis).In addition to my regional role, I play a national role on Federal Reserve System IT Leadership teams, including the Technology Delivery Leadership Council and the IT Talent Cohort (development of an Internal Talent Marketplace and a System Tech Academy).

Through Aavalar Consulting. Performing Infrastructure architecture, standardization and globalization services for Synthes - a global Medical Devices company (10,000 employees, 3.2 billion revenues). This project involves the creation of an I.T. architecture function and processes. It also includes assistance with governance structures related to Information Security. Coordinating teams in the U.S. and Switzerland to develop infrastructure standards in anticipation of a global ERP implementation.

Led global technical infrastructure globally - with 80+ employees responsible for I.T. infrastructure in 30+ sites and for 4500 employees. Team developed and managed state-of-the-art on-demand technical infrastructure environment and implemented best practices - ITIL and ISO 17799 with COBIT governance. Leveraged virtualization and strong architectural principles to facilitate agile service delivery. Senior member of 7 member global IT management team accountable for IT environment for 20 billion USD/EUR (revenues) company. Relentlessly managed 30+ million USD budget.

Project manager for technology implementations involving thousands of users worldwide. Responsible for desktop environment and application certification. Participated in International design and architecture groups.

At CGI, I was an Infrastructure Consultant, with certifications in Microsoft and NetWare. I provided Information Technology Infrastructure implementation and architectural design services for CGIs large enterprise customers, including Conrail, PHH, Johnson & Johnson and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer.

Responsible for MRP II programming. Branched out into networking and PC support.

Programmer on MRP II systems. Also provided PC and network support. Worked with LabView for automated testing of aerospace instrumentation. Smiths Industries became GE Aviation

Programmer of early mainframe-based email system. Also developed a proprietary dynamic file system.
