I was called upon to investigate suspected internal fraud cases. I also identifyed and closed fraud risk gaps within the company business processes. This was across a number of departments. I was also a member of the committee setup to evaluate the impact of the POPI Act (South African version of GDPR) on the business as well as creating a strategy and implementation plan.
