Hudgins Consulting Pc; PrincipalHudgins Consulting Jan 1997 - Dec 2009I was the Resource Manager of a major development in conjunction with the Grand Canyon National Park as an independent contractor. The project was multi-dimensional involving housing, hospitality, retail, restaurants and entertainment space types. I coordinated the planning and zoning presentations, following the LEEDv1 prototype checklist, and developing a secure water supply for the project. This involved interfacing with multiple stakeholder groups; federal, state and local governments; the Navajo and Hopi Tribes; project designers and consultants. Other HCPC clients during this time period included the Havasupai Tribe; Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community among the most notable. I became a LEED AP at this time and began certifying green buildings in Arizona and New Mexico as an independent contractor.
