Dr. Terry Ho is a Lecturer at the University of Canberra, an Adjunct Lecturer at UNSW Sydney, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. With a strong background in Evidence-Based Healthcare Delivery, Patient-Centred Outcomes, Public Health, and Vision and Ageing research, Terry has led and managed multiple Government-funded projects over the last three years since completing his PhD at UNSW.As an early career researcher, Terry has published 24 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals and has been recognized with the School of Optometry Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Additionally, Terry's recent work, the Health Policy Brief developed under the Deeble Research Scholarship, has been featured by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care and the Analysis & Policy Observatory, further highlighting his impact on public health policy.Terry is also actively engaged in scientific communication, evidenced by his first-place awards in the 3 Minutes Thesis competition and the Vice Chancellor’s Research Pitch Challenge. He currently serves as a committee member of the Vision ACTion Seminar Committee, contributing to global knowledge exchange and stakeholder engagement in optometric and ophthalmological research.
