Terry Kippley is the President of CPDA, the Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology. CPDA members manufacture, formulate and distribute approximately 80% of the $13B crop protection market. Before becoming president of CPDA at the beginning of 2022, he was president of Aceto Agricultural Chemicals, a global niche post patent crop protection company. While at Aceto, he oversaw the investment of over $20m into EPA pesticide registrations and procurement of nearly half a billion dollars worth of active ingredients from Chinese and Indian manufacturers. He began his career at Monsanto in field and product sales, followed by business management roles at Oil-Dri Corporation, a manufacturer of inert carriers to multi-nationals used in pesticide formulation. Terry has a deep understanding of US and international crop markets, including Europe, Russia, China and Latin America. He was a long-term board member and past president of the Mid-America CropLife Association. After being raised on dairy farm near Madison, WI, he graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a M.B.A from Loyola University of Chicago.
