The Aspex Product Group from FEI is a collection of scanning electron microscopes for industrial microscopy solutions which help to optimize quality control, production capacity, and profitability.Cutting edge particle identification technology wrapped up in a small portable scanning electron microscope package. While working for Aspex, I serviced scanning electron microscopes in locations all over the world including Thailand, Germany, Malaysia, etc.

IN/US Systems, Inc. was founded in 1990 to design, manufacture, sell, and service instruments used for the low-level measurement of radioactivity in HPLC eluates. Since introduction, our β-RAM Flow-Through detector has become the pharmaceutical industry's most widely used instrument of its type and installations are found throughout the world. As IN/US has grown, we have developed extensive field coverage. Eight Sales Engineers are located in key research areas in the U.S. and Canada, and there are Representatives in 25 countries on six continents.

Provided technical support via phone or remote computer assistance to customers working with our EDXRF products. Produced technical documents pertaining to the physical operation of each piece of equipment as well as assisted customers with the setup and execution of their analyses. An integral part of the EDXRF installation team, prestaged all of our large EDXRF equipment and accompanied the appropriate Customer Service Field Engineer and the Applications Engineer onsite to install and commission each piece of equipment. Facilitated the continuous lines of corporate communication by maintaining direct contact with all supervisory management as well as correspondence with the factory representatives.

Troubleshot a wide range of analytical equipment for customers onsite, over the phone and via the web, leading to minimal downtime and allowing them to get back to production or research.Installed, refurbished and improved used equipment for sale to end users resulting in significantly faster times from receipt of the equipment to market time.Produced various technical documents in relation to the use, installation and maintenance of analytical equipment, including documents pertaining to the maintenance of equipment involving GMP and 21CFR11 requirements.Performed routine PMS on customers equipment. Serviced Agilent, Perkin Elmer, ThermoElectron (ThermoFisher), Waters and numerous other manufacturers brands of HPLC, microscope, XRF, imaging, spectrometry analytical instruments.

Produced 5 different websites for various clients and performed duties directly related to marketing, search engine optimization and advertising for each of these clients.Consulted directly with the owner of a startup entertainment company on advertising, marketing and provided web services as well as onsite media services.Worked closely with a Nissan car dealership to assist in customer relations, advertising, web referrals and web postings. This resulted an a number of new and used car sales directly from that interaction.Performed computer related tasks on a consultation basis for a number of other local businesses and charities.

Provided onsite customer support for at least 250 different customers using the company's analytical equipment.

USS Annapolis - SSN-760

Attended all schools in the Naval Nuclear Pipeline including Basic Electricity and Electronics, Electronics Technician "A" School, Nuclear Power School and Nuclear Power Prototype Training. Reported to the USS Greenling, SSN-614 in June of 1982. Qualified Reactor Operator, Shutdown Reactor Operator and Submarines. Duties: Operate the nuclear reactor in either operating or shutdown modes, maintain all of the Reactor Control Electronic equipment optimally for maximum safety, maintain reactor operations logs and maintenance logs for proper safety reporting to both Naval Reactors and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Assisted in providing training to operational personnel, both inter-division and inter-department as well as to shipwide personnel. Participated in all shipwide and department examinations and testing. Completed one deployment to the Mediterranean Sea, numerous shorter excursions, two drydock maintenance periods and a year of shipyard overhaul and testing.
