Managed all IT functions for two Denver locations including Preferred Machinery Corporation (Englewood) and Alcoa Packaging Machinery (Centennial). The infrastructure included approximately 30 servers and over 150 PCs/Laptops. With the help of a small team, performed the migration of data from an AS400 based ERP system to Proman (an ERP system based on the Pick multi -dimensional database engine). The move was completed in 30 days as mandated by licensing considerations. The migration included item master records (> 20,000), shop orders, purchase orders, and configuration records necessary to drive the location's business. This effort saved at least $50,000 in short term cost and much more over the longer term.

Developed a VB.Net web service application to receive XML based documents from an EDI broker and then process the purchase order records in the Proman ERP system. This process saved a substantial amount of time by eliminating the need for manual entry of customer orders. Designed and developed an effective web-based IT request system using SQL-Server as the back-end database. This process supported stated SLAs and the results were used as one measure in IT performance reviews. This system is still being used and received and completed over 16,000 requests by late 2010. Developed and implemented web based internal procurement request system for parties such as customer service or engineering to request purchasing information of both inventory and non-inventory items. Also a web based maintenance request system to help drive machine tool and building maintenance management needs. Managed PBX system and related telecommunication infrastructure including circuits.
