Managed the UNIX Backup/Restore team. Custom UNIX scripts were Created and maintained to enhance the backup process time by at least 50% with strict inventory control.Evaluated and became the first UNIX Backup Administrator for the Legato Backup System. The new jukebox had 116 tapes with two 8mm tape drives with automated arms to inventory the tapes.

Administered program maintenance of the ASK/MANMAN 8.0 release software using FORTRAN on Digital VAX 6310 and 6420.Developed applications support for Omar (Sales), A/P, and secondary support for Human resources. Studied the MAN/MAN applications and mentored the users.Participated with the migration from an IBM 4381 mainframe system by writing Digital Command Language Macros to transfer data from mainframe to VAX computers.

Using Xerox Filer Language on an IBM 4381 mainframe computer, a custom sales and inventory system was designed, constructed, tested, by me, to meet the special requirements of the Cross Company. The completed system included formatted calculation and printing of sales orders, Commands to manually adjust inventory counts, extra requested features, such as tracking what the last document, initiated by the order personnel and special Ad Hoc Reporting.
