Terry Rennaker joined Equinix in 2018 to lead Development for the Hyperscale Infrastructure Team (HIT). The Equinix HIT business services the needs of the top 12 global cloud, technology, and SaaS providers for their global large footprint deployments.Prior to joining Equinix, Mr. Rennaker was a principal in his own project management services company. Rennaker Company provided project and program management for some of the largest data center users in the world. He has delivered projects worldwide. Mr. Rennaker also held the position of Management of Integrated Solutions Development for the Skanska where he focused on integrating the supply chain including finance, new technology research and development, design, construction, commissioning, and operations of data centers. He served as the Director of Mission Critical for CB Richard Ellis in Canada and was responsible for the successful delivery of a $700 million data center program. Terry was the CBRE Critical Properties Global Knowledge Network team.He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and played for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.

Mr. Rennaker has well over twenty years experience in design, construction, operations, and real estate development, primarily in data centers for some of the largest companies in the world, all over the world. His clients include Facebook, Digital Realty Trust, Microsoft, Sprint, American Express, Amazon.com, Royal Bank of Canada and others. He was previously the Global Director of Mission Critical for CBRE. He has delivered in excess of $4 billion in projects.Most recently he managed the program for the roll out of a new data center platform for a large social media company in the US and Europe. He has also successfully delivered approximately $700 million in new and refurbished data centers to Royal Bank of Canada in the Greater Toronto Area as the Program Director for RBC managing the design, construction, and commissioning of two green field data centers, and multiple significant upgrades to existing operating centers. This included building internal delivery teams from a total of 4 when he came in to a team of over 30 while simultaneously driving the delivery of the projects.He has assisted firms like Morgan Stanley and Comcast in evaluating their entire data center portfolios to optimize the value delivered to the company and to drive the Total Cost of Ownership down by as much as 40% or more.He is available to assist you in developing your data center strategy to drive down cost and delivery times while increasing the overall value to the company and meeting or exceeding the mission needs.
