As the company expanded into new markets, I was the primary IT professional in building out two new regional offices in the Midland, TX area, as well as participating in the build out of two additional offices, one in Wyoming and the other in North Dakota. I have also continued to help support the system and users in these areas while also performing day to day functions in my primary location in the Vernal, UT area.I was Key player in the transition of approximately 120 computers from Windows XP to Windows 7 and training the users in the use of the new operating system.As Field Analyst, I transitioned over 50 BlackBerry Cellular users to modern iPhone and Android smart phones. This included deactivating BlackBerry user accounts and devices on the dedicated server, collecting the retired devices, setting up the new smart phones on the new servers and training each user in the use of the new device. As an ongoing aspect of this project, I continue to support existing smart phones and deploy new devices.On an ongoing basis, I support and deploy over 80 Alvarion and Radwin network radios as needed throughout the field of operations covering over 5000 sq. miles. These radios are a major aspect of the overall corporate local network, connecting such locations as natural gas processing plants, compressor stations, drilling rigs, remote offices and field vehicles.
