I was approached by a local philantropist who wanted to create multiple extracurricular activities for kids in need. The operating board elected me as the first Executive Director.► Sponsored quarterly retreats for inner city kids that gave them first hand exposure to the beauty and importance of the Chesapeake Bay.► 92% of the funds we raised from multiple sources were directly applied for the benefit of the people we served.

I was introduced to the CEO of this well-known family owned global retailer at the perfect time, when my skills were needed to facilitate an operational turnaround strategy. My successes included:► Corporate Operations Officer for the turnaround and coordination of distribution of merchandise to 40+ retail stores. ► Budgetary and forecasting for resources needed between the home office and retail stores. ► Consolidated operations through streamlining systems and developing more effective procedures for managing an international company. ► Direct financial responsibility for operations, inventory management, and distribution security resulting in great effectiveness in executing our systems.
