Theresa M. Simonds is a Partner in EisnerAmper's Litigation Services Group. Terry has over 25 years of experience providing technical support to clients in business valuation matters, with clients ranging from manufacturers to professional service organizations. She has extensive experience in providing traditional accounting services, while specializing in litigation support, business valuations, damage measurement, and forensic accounting and investigations. Terry has consulted and testified for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters including complex business valuations, fraud investigations, damage assessments, lost profit calculations, matrimonial proceedings, shareholder disputes, malpractice actions, and acquisitions and sales of businesses. She has been appointed by Judges in various counties to act as an expert witness in the above types of matters and to issue reports for the courts on these cases. Terry combines the use of appraisal and valuation skills and other financial expertise to work on complex litigation matters.Terry is a frequent speaker before both business and civic organizations and has written articles on forensic accounting. She received her B.A. from the University of Vermont and her master’s degree in Finance from Rider College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
