I am continuing my work on the VERIFY project, but now in a full-time capacity. My main role is fact-checking viral claims and writing articles about the fact-checks that will accompany a broadcast piece.

I worked on the VERIFY team at TEGNA's Charlotte station: WCNC (NBC Charlotte). With VERIFY, I help create content for all of TEGNA's 50+ stations across the United States. I provide fact-checking research for broadcast and digital pieces. This includes writing the scripts for those pieces in some cases.

I currently work as a writer for Overwatch esports news website over.gg. I write, edit, and publish articles, tweeting them out after they're published. I generate story ideas and reach out to players, coaches, and other people involved with competitive Overwatch for interviews. I also created the style guide that the website's other writers use.

I worked as a member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame's floor staff. I helped answer the concerns of guests and ran interactive activities for guests to participate in. I gave tours of the facility to guests and taught them the history of NASCAR in a fun way. I worked both normal operating hours and events at night.

I started this role while a work-study with the facilities staff. Over the summer, I revamped the graphics for QUSN across all sports, using Photoshop to do so. Since the start of the school year, I've setup pre-game and done take down post-game, I've directed broadcasts, ran graphics, and operated cameras.

I worked in collaboration with Digital Charlotte to checkout equipment to various entities. I typically checked out camera equipment to students and laptops/iPads to outside organizations, most of which were non-profit. I kept track of the room's inventory and ensure people had the correct equipment. When asked, I would give people advice as to which equipment is best to checkout for a person's specific needs.

I helped transition the Queens website from the old site to what it is today, and currently help further update the website. I wrote copy, edited images, and learned the OUCampus CMS. Today, I promptly make requested updates to the web, update PDFs for accessibility, and add captions to videos on the Queens Youtube channel.

I worked as a member of the Levine Center staff to prepare and run sporting events played at the gym on campus, as well as the multi-sport field off of campus. Typical activities included converting the Levine Center gym into a spectator arena before basketball games and volleyball games, as well as turning the arena back into a gym after games. Setup was also necessary to welcome spectators at Dickson Field at the Queens Sports Complex. During most games for all sports at both facilities I either ran the camera for an online stream of the game or the scoreboard for the same stream. Sometimes I also fulfilled the role of crowd control at basketball games, and worked ticketing for all sports at both facilities.

As a radio production intern with the Carolina Panthers, I worked on live broadcasts of Carolina Panthers games. I cut audio highlights to be played on air and operated the soundboard for a local radio station. Additionally, I edited highlights together for intros and practiced my ability to perform game wraps.
