As the Chief Product Officer, my role has evolved since YouVersion's inception in 2007 and its Apple App Store launch in July 2008. My responsibilities have spanned engineering, product, design, data, operations, and R&D.Before this, I served as an executive pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, overseeing technology and operations. My leadership extended to TV/radio, multi-site launches, conferences, and developing external resource sites.Early in my career, I recognized that college wasn't my path and entered the telecom industry pre-internet. I led technical sales teams for a major telecommunications company, which led to founding several companies.
