About Terry West
With 28 years of valuable experience so far, I have developed progressively in an ever evolving Foreign Exchange market from the inception of Digital trading (EBS, Reuters) to the present days automation of the FX market. I have been flexible trading all shifts for 24 Hr coverage, incorporating forward trading for a short period (Commerzbank) and used my contacts as a Sales function (mainly in the option area but with some shorter term FX trades). I have remained fully qualified in the bankings sector with the FCA and from the diverse ACI diploma (covers from FX to Bonds), whilst maintaining the compliance needs of the current market. I have always embraced change and been proactive enough to use my years experience to manage a small group of staff learning how to use the majority of EFX platforms. With my knowledge and background I have also been able push FX projects such as the embryonic coverage and structure of e-commerce in the most professional and most profitable direction. Everyone of my employments has been carried out in a professional manner with Integrity and vigour. I am looking for the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience in any way possible to help a new employer push forward and maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
