As the Overseas Manager I was over all communications with our factories. I inventoried and ordered merchandise, performed quality checks of product and communicated issues to factories, and I communicated any needs for new product to the factories. I worked closely with the owner to plan and execute our new lines each season as well.

As one of the companies wholesale managers, I worked very closely with our wholesale customers. I assisted customers with all order inquiries, attended tradeshows to present product to buyers, and planned and executed a monthly social media plan. During my time there I created, planned, and launched a subscription box program for the company named, Fornash Club.

Leesburg, Va

My main tasks at Madisonbelle were to maintain all social media outlets. I planned email blasts, Facebook posts, and Instagram posts for each week with the owner. I then shot all photos for the posts and built each post. My other major duty was to maintain the store's page on Shoptiques. I chose pieces to go onto the site and uploaded new merchandise regularly. I occasionally assisted customers with purchases and helped merchandise the store.

As a cosmetics intern with Nordstrom I shadowed the cosmetics manager and assistant manager. My manager soon trusted me enough to allow me to be the manager in charge on a few days where there was no other department manager on duty. Through the internship I also learned how to effectively sell cosmetics, a product I was not very knowledgable about, and how to make sure the customer was properly assisted.

As president I resided over the MSU Fashion Board. Fashion Board is a student-run organization that plans and puts on fashion shows for the campus and community of Starkville. I was the source of contact for all officers, outside vendors, contacts, and directors. I managed internal production and external communication.

I did a range of tasks at R. Tabb & Co. I assisted customers and maintained good relationships with customers. I helped any customers with styling needs. I planned photo shoots for the store social media and blog, and I styled the outfits that went in each photo shoot. I helped maintain any and all social media for the store. I helped in the planning of events and sales, and I helped prepare for any sale that took place in the store. I also assisted in the visual merchandising of the store. I worked closely with the owner and the other employees to make the schedule for the store. I sent out the schedule every two weeks, and posted it in the store.

As the Vendor Relations Executive Officer of the MSU Fashion Board I was the liaison between local Starkville vendors and the members of Fashion Board. I spoke with the vendors before any fashion board show weeks in advance to make sure they would be participating and that they knew all details of the show. A week before I told the vendors the fashion board members that would be modeling their clothes. At this time I gave them the information for the fitting days and times. I also made sure all models knew which stores to go to and when. I delegated to my team to help pick-up and drop-off all clothes for the shows. I worked very closely with all other executive members of fashion board to help maintain the every day tasks of the organization.

I presented the spring and summer 2014 lines to interested buyers. I helped maintain and upkeep all inventory, and I helped straighten the showroom throughout every day. I suggested popular items to buyers to help make sure they did not miss a piece. I also filed all orders.

While at TJ Maxx customer service was key. I maintained helpful and healthy relationships with all customers. I handled returns and purchases with cash, credit cards, and gift cards. I helped with the every day upkeep and organization of the store. I stocked shelves and filled racks when merchandise would come in. I often filled in for the front-end coordinator. I would maintain all aspects of the front counter from planning employee breaks to answering any and all questions of other associates and customers. I would also maintain customer service for the store from making sure a customer had help at the jewelry counter, layaway, and in the dressing room. I would delegate tasks to other employees when a need would arise.
